Things have been looking up for Theresa and me this month. We finished all of the family and house photos and made the last payment to the agency for this round. I received a conformation email that our dossier paper work is on its way to Colombia to be reviewed. Once it is accepted we will go it to the referral phase where they will match us with our children. It is very exciting to be entering this phase of the adoption.
I would like to take a minute and thank Joyce Fletcher and her family for their generous donation to the adoption. And thank you to all who have been following us and praying for us. Prayers mean so much to us right now. I have been trying (and I feel successful) to accumulate everyone’s addresses so I can mail out items. If you would like to be on this list, please email me a copy of your address. There are still quite a few that I am missing. We hope that by next Christmas, we will be home with our children (HOPING). Imagine getting that Christmas card of the kids in the mail.
We are looking at the possibility of doing a fund raiser in the coming year. It’s just too hectic with the holiday season here to plan one. But you all will be the firsts to know. As I mentioned before, thank you for all that guys have done for us. Every day I feel humbled that you have been so generous to Theresa and I. We will hopefully have some very exciting news about what’s going on in February, stay tuned. For Christmas, I leave with a passage from the Gospel according to Luke:
The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
With Love and Blessings
