As the hours ticked on I began to see some bald spots on our tables, which coincided with some added weight in our change box. As I tallied up the totals at the end of each day I was honestly in wonder, as I am every year, at how God works in our lives. I could almost swear that He was slipping twenties in the till!
We are blessed in our lives to have some wonderful friends and relatives that support and pray for us daily. Through your donations and prayers we had our most successful yard sale ever - after three days in the sun and John putting on his best used car salesman bravato....

Wow. I mean WOW. I can't properly express in words how incredibly grateful we are. The adoption journey is such a long one and it means so much to have all of you by our side. Seriously, our family and friends are the best.
In other news I spoke with our agency rep last week and she said that she will hopefully have some information for us about where we stand in the process by next week. Here's a brief recap for those that don't remember - we had just sent our dossier down to Colombia when we found out we were pregnant with Ella. Normally our dossier would have been reviewed, approved, and then we would have been placed on the ICBF waitlist. However because we had to put the process on hold right as our documents got to country, and before they were approved, we have been stuck in limbo for the past year. We know that we cannot adopt until Ella is a year old (this August). What we are trying to find out is if we have to wait until then to get on the waitlist or if we can get on the waitlist now (the chance of us being matched before her birthday are astronomically high). Here's to hoping we have answers soon!
Thank you again for all your prayers and support - they mean the world to us!
